Can I import my old Claude and ChatGPT chats?+
Yes. Paste threads where you already explained your company, research, or career. We chunk and embed them so essays pull from what you already said, not a blank form.
If I just chat with Bucket, will it start filling YC?+
No. Talking normally stays chat. Clear fill or apply language (“fill this”, “apply to this URL”) is what wakes the fill engine.
Do you ever submit without me looking?+
Never. You always get a review screen: every field editable, confidence flags when memory is thin, then you confirm.
Where do my answers actually come from?+
Your Bucket memory: onboarding, resume, imported chats, connected apps, and anything you teach in product. We retrieve per question and rewrite for that program’s tone.
Are my portal passwords safe?+
Credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage and only decrypted server-side for a fill job you start. They are not written to application logs.
What happens if I leave for a while?+
After 90 days of inactivity we purge personal memory, credentials, chats, and applications so stale secrets don’t linger. You can also delete from Settings anytime.
Is live browser fill for YC working today?+
